Am I ready to take this course?
You are ready for this course if ANY of the following is true. You should talk to me if: You are, more likely than not, not quite ready for this course if:
  • You have taken a course in Data Structures at the college level.
  • You have two or more semesters of college level programming experience.
  • You are able to implement and correctly use a linked list.
  • You are sure you can correctly use pointers.
  • You have a semester worth of programming with the Breve language.
  • You have programming experience, but only in high school.
  • It's been more that a year since you did any programming.
  • You don't know what a linked list is.
  • You have never programmed before.
  • You have not used functions in your programs.
  • You have not used while/for/foreach loops in
If you are interested in computer programming and/or artificial intelligence, but are not quite ready for this course this semester, you might want to take CS-171: Artificial Life on Tuesdays & Thursdays, 10:30-11:50 AM
 (or other introductory courses at the Five Colleges this semester).
