Where are research-based courses taught?
Portland State University--through their Science in the Liberal Arts program and  Cornerstone courses, many faculty in all areas of science have designed and taught research-based courses. 

Hampshire College  School of Natural Science designs all of its introductory courses and some advanced courses as Research-Based Courses. Catalog information provides the philosophy statement and basic descriptions of courses.  Development of many courses was enhanced by grants from the National Science Foundation (Institution-wide Reform grant and others) and the Howard Hughes Medical Institute.
