Passage du Désir 16mm/S8, 93 minutes. Shot in Madrid, Paris and Florence. 2004. The film is an exploration of desire, transience and memory through the experience of an exile, one whose relationship to country, language and history is continually in question. In returning to the city of her past, a traveler imagines looking for lost friends. She finds instead a delirious metropolis of mental and physical detours where a room threads together hallucination and remembrance, where the city leads her towards a thousand gardens within itself; gardens of bridges, rivers, doorways, factories, where breath, light, the spinning of heat in the skin and flesh are caught and splintered among its folds. Camera: Corinne Bergas, Léna Rouxel, Fernando de Azevedo, Baba Hillman, Adele Horne, Scott Janz, K. Strickland. Cast: Valérie Crouzet, Laura Diaz del Corral, Daniel St. Pedro, Phillipe Cariou and Baba Hillman. Valérie Crouzet is a member of Ariane Mnouchkine's Théatre de Soleil, and has acted in films including Alejandro Jodorowsky's Santa Sangre. Laura Diaz del Corral, has worked with Spanish and French theatre companies including the Catalan collective "Els Joglars". She appeared in the film "Buenaventura Durruti, Anarchist" currently screening on ARTE. Daniel St. Pedro is an actor in the company of Théatre du Rond Point in Paris.
