75 Avenue Niel
France, 2014, 16mm/S8, B&W, 14 minutes

An exploration of transience, memory and loss. The movement of the film comes through the body, on the ground of the detour, and at the moment of uncertainty, where a story is broken and shifts into another form, as one’s history is broken and reshaped.

Decroux's Garden

A return after many years to the home of a beloved teacher. I am less than a trace returning to this garden, but I am here and my heart turns, hearing again, though differently, the songs that hang here still, in the breath of this place.

Camera, editing: Baba Hillman, Michael Rice.
