Laura earned her Ph.D. in philosophy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and her B.A. in philosophy from Boston University. Her research interests span issues in philosophy of mind, philosophy of psychology, cognitive science and philosophy of biology. Her current research focuses on moods and emotions and the relationships between affect and consciousness.
